Congratulations to our recently married couple, Julie and Donald! Steve and I enjoyed being part of their day, beginning at the hotel with Julie as she prepared for the ceremony. Her bouquet pictured above had memorial pendants in memory of her grandparents wrapped around it; It was nice to have her grandparents by her side on her wedding day.

How many times have us ladies heard, “I love you more than football!” Well, Donald showed Julie that she was no less important than his favorite sport by presenting her with her own personalized football shirt. (Notice that she is #1.)

This is the wedding of Lauren and Eddie, a very fun couple who had their reception at Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston, MA. After our visit to Boston’s State Room to plan for their upcoming event, we were ready to take on the day! Anna and Michael were a wonderful couple to work with, and their wedding day was elegant and beautiful. The ceremony itself took place at the Chapel at the College of the Holy Cross, then onto Boston’s State Room. As promised, here are some photos from the day:

With the weather being tricky lately, we were lucky enough to have the formals outside with the back drop of Holy Cross. The reception had us 33 floors up, providing a great view of the city at night. We were happy to not get caught in the big storm this day, as the showers took place while we were having a great time inside the State Room. Steve and I were happy to be part of this day, and we are looking forward to designing an album that sums up Anna and Michael’s day perfectly. Thank you, Anna and Michael, for choosing us for this big role in your wedding!

Want a very fun and comfortable way to transport your wedding party (and more!) to and from your destinations on your wedding day? Many of our couples are choosing the wedding trolley. We are seeing more and more of this vehicle. In fact, we just had a wedding trolley to safely transport the wedding party and families this weekend from the bride’s home, to the church, then onto Butternut Farms for the reception:

I wanted a closer look at this trolley, so we visited one of the only locations that we know of in this area who offers one: A Perfect Limo of Shrewsbury.

I was immediately impressed with the size and the space! No squishing in here. It’s nice to think of the bridal gown and bridesmaids’ gowns not getting wrinkled on the trip!

Allan pointed out that like the other vehicles in A Perfect Limo’s fleet, this trolley is custom. It is in fact the only trolley in the world with such amenities as hardwood flooring, fireplace, rockband, karaoke, mirrored flat screens, onboard coolers, adequate air conditioning, even a hidden wheelchair lift for folks with mobility impairments.

I have to back up a minute. Did Allan point out “Rock Band?”

Oh yes! You can imagine the competition that goes on here! I let Allan win so he wouldn’t feel bad. I spoke to him about recent weddings and how the groomsmen were playing guitars, as were the bridesmaids! Definitely a memorable ride!

A bit more about the trolley from Allan:

“This is a fully enclosed White Diamond 51 passenger wedding trolley, and this one vehicle answers all the couples transportation issues. In the case of a ceremony at one location and reception at another; the vehicle would pickup the groomsmen first, transport them to the ceremony site. Go to the bride’s location, bring her, her bride’s maids, her mother father and in many cases grandmother and grandfather to the ceremony. Following the ceremony it would transport everyone to the reception site and while photos are being taken at the reception site, it would immediately proceed to a local hotel for wedding guests. It would then transport these guests to the reception location and at the end of the night, make a few trips to various locations as needed.

In the case of an on site ceremony, the vehicle would usually transport the bride and party to the ceremony/reception location to get ready and prepare for the ceremony. It would then proceed to the groomsmens’ location, pick them up, bring them to the ceremony and then immediately go to a local hotel for wedding guests. It would then shuttle them to the ceremony. Following the ceremony it would wait for possible photos with the bridal party and then transport the guests back to various locations following the reception.”

It’s a fun and safe way to take care of your wedding party and family. I love the wood floors and how clean and sophisticated the trolley is. We are seeing the trolley more and more as people become aware of it. Be sure to call Allan to take a look inside! Oh, and please let him win at Rock Band.
