Wedding Magazine

Thank you to Bride and Groom magazine for choosing one of our wedding images for their “Just Desserts” article:

Boston Wedding

This was the wedding of Amy and John who were married at The Harrington Farm in the Fall. With the New England Fall theme-throughout, their wedding “cake” was actually an apple pie. :) With Harrington Farm as the perfect setting, take a look into a few more aspects of their day:

Winter Reading and an Open House

Monday, January 21st, 2008

Preparing for the upcoming weddings has had us quite busy at work. We often joke about how some people believe we have winters off, but this is not the case. We are not only photographing winter weddings, but this is also a busy time seeing clients and booking 2009 weddings. After album designs, consultations, and many meetings, Steve and I can be found catching up on the latest digital photography and wedding trends. ;)

Aside from reading those intense training books, we will also be participating in the Open Houses of some of our favorite facilities in the area. Our next Open House will be this Saturday, January 24, 2008 from 11 pm – 4 pm at the Old Sturbridge Village. The Village now offers some new opportunities for weddings, including a new bridal suite and also use of the grounds for photography. We’d love for you to stop by and see us! We will have images on display as well as a sample album. You will also meet the staff at Old Sturbridge Village and see how beautiful the facility is. Come visit us!

We’d like to send out a special thank you to Sarah Pike, Event Manager of the Boston Museum of Science. We discovered that she chose one of our images to represent a reception at the Museum in a Bridal magazine. We are happy to be represented in the “Quintessential Boston” article:

DJ Kevin Whitney

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

With the ending of 2007 comes the excitement of all we have to look forward to in 2008. For us, this means … weddings! We are very excited for our upcoming year and to find ourselves in locations like The State Room in Boston, The Providence Biltmore, and Tuckerman Hall. Within those weddings we will photograph next year, we will undoubtedly find ourselves working with many talented professionals who work side by side with us to help your wedding day come together perfectly.

One of the more prominent professionals we worked with last year is DJ Kevin Whitney. We will be seeing him lots in 2008 as well, as he is one of the more popular DJ’s in this area and in Boston and Newport and beyond. It’s a pleasure working with Kevin and the crowd always enjoys his professionalism and his great attitude. He is fun to work with, and he understands a very important point: your wedding day is about *you.*

Over the past year, Steve and I have collected a few images which we will show you here of Kevin hard at work! We’ll call it: 2007 Kevin Sightings!

Can you tell he loves what he does? We highly recommend him as we know you will be very happy with your party with Kevin as your DJ. He is very easy to work with and always gets along with all the other professionals who help make your day perfect as a team.

Thanks to Kevin for all the amazing ceremonies and receptions we were at together in 2007! We look forward to the 2008 year knowing that we will all be part of that wedding day team again many, many times. :)
